A french indie and self-funded studio

WanadevStudio is an independent, self-funded development studio based in Lyon, France. We have been creating digital experiences since 2009, continuously exploring what technology has to offer. The team has released more than 15 games across a wide range of platforms and devices (PC, consoles, virtual and mixed reality, mobile, etc.), distributed on major platforms such as Steam, PlayStation, Meta, and the App Store. On a daily basis, around ten people are directly involved in the creation of video games.

Creating experiences through digital innovation is what we love and do every day. From writing scenarios to designing gameplay phases, including animation and interaction development, we bring to life both the experiences we imagine and those requested by our partners.

An innovation hub

The gaming DNA of Wanadev’s members inevitably led us to evolve and expand our structure. Today, Wanadev continues as a web agency under the WanadevDigital brand, while WanadevStudio operates as a game development studio. Both entities work hand in hand to imagine and develop innovative digital experiences, including custom projects on demand.

For players and the gaming industry

The studio develops immersive games and experiences for the general public and for broadcasting platforms, including multiplayer experiences set in diverse universes. For several years, the team has also been creating experiences dedicated to VR gaming venues, offering games specifically designed for entertainment professionals. Additionally, we have always developed tailor-made VR experiences aligned with our partners’ specifications.
